In a small village near to Mladá Boleslav there is a private Jawa museum. The owners are father and son who together renovate and repair all of the motorcycles. At the time when Frantisek Miclík started collecting motorcycles there were many available. Motorcycles were very cheap but many needed repair and renovation. It’s taken several years for Frantisek to build up his beautiful Jawa collection. His museum is still expanding. Frantisek’s son continues his father’s work and they refuse to sell any of his Jawa collection in spite of many interesting offers. Mr Miclik is a devotee of Jawa motorcycles, he loves speaking about Jawa history and his excellent collection.
